2008 Changes
We've listened and we've acted. The
vendor hall hours have been extended. By extending these hours,
vendor representatives gain more opportunities to visit with
potential clients. For details visit the

Many of you are
aware that the past two vendor conferences have been at
convention centers rather a hotel ballroom. Because of
this, we've grown in attendance and hope to have another record
breaking year in Galveston. Naturally, we've increased the
number of conference staff and coordinators, face increase legal
and business matters, and costs have increase. We've worked very
hard over the past 3 years not to pass the cost increase to the member
or participating vendor.
In order to provide
a more professional and attractive vendor hall, we've chosen to
carpet the entire hall in Galveston. This will increase the
booth rental fee from the usual $800 for corporate member to
$900. At past conferences many vendors rent carpet from the
decorating service for $100 or more. This is no longer necessary, so
this decision may provide a cost savings for many vendor.
